My alma mater has a solar car racing team, of which I was a part for most of my college career.
They just participated in the biennial race, from Texas to Calgary, finishing 8th. Nice job guys! They won the award for best looking car, too. Yay! University of Michigan took 1st place (again). Boo!
In a previous life, I used to be part of the race organization, too. My old boss, a great guy, is still running it.
Anyway, the results are here, and the team has a blog, and a good friend and former solar car colleague has a blog recounting her adventures this year as a race official.
