Brews

I went to visit my good friend Bruce yesterday, piggybacking on a work trip to mid-Michigan. I got to meet his work colleagues, his girlfriend and her daughter, and his dog. We spent most of the time in his awesome backyard, looking out on a river.

Here he is at work (at a think tank, no less!). This was actually not posed, despite the resemblance to "The Thinker"



















Here's his puppy Lucy, who is an absolute sweetheart. My arms are sore today thanks to her indefatigable fetch-playing.
