Helmet Girl!

Fern has been diagnosed with positional plagiocephaly. Nothing too serious, but she has to wear a helmet, working her way up to 23 hours of helmet time a day, possibly for a few months. The helmet is supposed to help her skull grow into a more normal, round shape.

Anyway, she had her second helmet appointment today, the one that resulted in her custom-made helmet coming home with her.

For the record, she's doing pretty well with it, although it's been less than 24 hours.





Sophie and Owen wanted to wear their helmets, too, so Fern would feel better about the whole thing. They're just great, aren't they?
